A 33-year-old man has been sentenced for distributing heroin, cocaine, and crack cocaine in Connecticut.
Darryl Russell, of New Haven, was sentenced on Monday, April 11, to 27 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release, according to Leonard Boyle, United States attorney for the District of Connecticut.
New Haven Police encountered James Lee on March 13, 2021, when he was sitting in a car that had fled police days prior, and police searched Lee's person and found $3,815 and $3,443 in the car, the DA's Office reported.

In 2018, the FBI’s Northern Connecticut Gang Task Force began investigating Ricardo Reyes, also known as “Rick the Ruler,” a member of the Los Solidos street gang who was distributing fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and crack in the area of Park Street and Hungerford Street in Hartford County.

A Massachusetts man was arrested following a traffic stop for driving without headlights on alleged weapons and drug charges.
David McDade, age 36, of Worcester, was arrested around 2:30 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 31, after a state police trooper noticed he was driving in a black Mazda CX-9 without headlights.

A man allegedly decided to take piles of drugs with him on an unrelated trip to a local police station.
On Saturday, Nov. 28, Heriberto Gonzalez, 25, of Worcester went to the police station in Monson, police said.
While Gonzalez was in the parking lot, police went to check on his sobriety. Following a brief investigation, police allegedly found drugs with Gonzalez: ecstasy, Adderall, Xanax, marijuana, and THC products, police said.
