East Hartford Construction Worker Killed In Hartford Crash
A Connecticut man is being held on a $1 million bond after hitting and killing a construction worker in a crash while allegedly driving recklessly. Hartford County resident Jose Diaz-Nieves, age 54, of East Hartford, was killed around 12:15 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, after being hit by a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Tommy Nguyen, of Hartford. Fall On Site Of New CT High School Under Construction: Worker Airlifted
A Connecticut construction worker was airlifted to the hospital after falling at the construction site of a new high school. The accident took place in Hartford County around 7:30 a.m., Thursday, May 25 in Farmington at the site of the new high school on Monteith Drive. Firefighters from the Tunix Hose Fire Department responded and UConn Health Center ambulance responded to the report of an injured worker, said Lt. Timothy McKenzie, of the Farmington Police. Person Found Dead In Parking Lot of Fairfield Prep By Construction Worker
The body of a missing man was found in the Fairfield Prep parking lot by a construction worker. The man was found around 6:56 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, by the worker in the parking area of Fairfield University and Fairfield Prep, said Fairfield Police Lt. Antonio Granata.
