Burglar Caught In Act By Shelton Resident Arrested, Police Say A 44-year-old Connecticut man was charged with burglary after he was confronted by the homeowner in Fairfield County. New Haven County resident Michael Ramchandani, of Hamden, was arrested for the Sunday, Oct. 15 incident that took place at a River Road home. According to Det. Richard Bango, of the Shelton Police, a River Road resident interrupted a burglary in progress at his home. The incident took place in Fairfield on Sunday, Oct. 22 around 7:20 a.m. According to Fairfield Police, the victim called 911 to report that he had just been assaulted while asleep. Once on the scene, the victim told police he woke up "dazed and confused" as a man identified as Gabriel Garcia-Gonzalez, hometown unknown, was punching him in the face.
