Connecticut Man Nabbed For Selling Counterfeit NBA Final Tickets: Police
A 29-year-old man from Connecticut was arrested in Boston for selling counterfeit NBA final tickets, authorities said. Jeffrey Hall, of Naugatuck was arrested for selling the fake tickets in the area of Causeway Street around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, Boston Police said. This was the same night the Celtics were playing the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the finals at TD Garden. Citizens Honored For Aiding In Rescue Of Kidnapped 11-Year-Old
A local couple that helped police rescue a kidnapped 11-year-old girl is being celebrated for their heroics. On Tuesday, Nov. 17, Benny Correa and Amanda Disley, both of Springfield, will be among the people honored in the annual Heroes Among Us awards organized by the Boston Celtics and the Massachusetts State Lottery, according to MassLive. Correa and Disley are credited with using information from an Amber Alert to spot a vehicle suspected to be involved in a kidnapping.
