A man dressed in dark clothing was caught by troopers allegedly attempting to break into Connecticut State Police vehicles. The incident took place in Hartford in the rear parking lot of Troop H on Washington Street on Tuesday, Dec. 27. A 43-year-old man is facing an attempted larceny charge after he was accused of peering into vehicles and attempting to enter a vehicle in the parking lot of a Connecticut elementary school. Woman Arrested Using Fake ID To Cash $4K Check In Fairfield County, Police Say
A woman was arrested for allegedly attempting to cash a check for $4,500 after bank officials found she was using fake identification. Madelin Rodriguez, age 32, of the Bronx, was arrested by police around noon on Saturday, Aug. 7 at the People's United Bank in Wilton. A bank employee told officers that Rodriguez attempted to make a withdrawal of $4,500 from a checking account, said Wilton Police Lieutenant Gregg Phillipson. Man Busted Attempting To Cash Fraudulent Check At Fairfield County Bank, Police Say
A 49-year-old man was busted in Fairfield County for attempting to cash a fraudulent check. Johnny Rivera, of New Haven, was arrested on Monday, Jan. 4, at Union Saving Bank in Monroe for charges involving fraudulent activity, said Monroe Police Lt. Stephen Corrone.
