Man Nabbed In Stolen Car With Girl, 13, At Fairfield County Mall, Police Say
A Connecticut man is behind bars after allegedly being caught in a stolen vehicle at a Fairfield County mall with a 13-year-old girl he just met.
The incident took place in Trumbull around 5:30 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 9 at the Westfield Trumbull Mall.
Trumbull Police located the vehicle, which was reported stolen to the New Haven Police Department on Wednesday, Dec. 7, in the mall parking lot where the vehicle was recovered and the occupants apprehended, said Lt. Brian Weir, of the Trumbull Police.

Fairfield County Man, 76, Charged With Possession Of Child Porn, Police Say
A 76-year-old Fairfield County man has been charged with allegedly possessing child pornography.
John Minehan of Westport turned himself in to the police on Monday, Nov. 28, following an investigation into a cyber tip, said Lt. Eric Woods, of the Westport Police.
According to Woods, on Monday, Aug. 15, Westport Police initiated an investigation into the possession of suspected child pornography by a resident after receiving a cyber tip from National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Brother Of CT Lieutenant Governor Seriously Injured In Hit-Run Crash
Police in Connecticut have made an arrest in a hit-and-run crash that severely injured the brother of Lieutenant Gov. Susan Bysiewicz, according to WTNH News 8.
New Haven County resident John Bysiewicz, of Brandford, was hit around 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12 on the 400 block of Leetes Island Road in Guilford, said Deputy Chief Chris Massey of the Guilford Police.
Bysiewicz sustained severe injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment, WTNH reported.

Armed, Dangerous Suspect Wanted In Fairfield County Murder Caught, Police Say
A man who was considered armed and dangerous and wanted for a stabbing homicide in Fairfield County has been apprehended by police.
Lawrence Blue, age 45, of Bridgeport, was caught hours after the word went out on Saturday, Oct. 29, that he was wanted for the early morning stabbing death of 23-year-old Justice Hunter of Bridgeport, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police.
The homicide was discovered around 4:15 a.m. Saturday, when Bridgeport officers responded to the 800 block of Atlantic Street on the report of a party stabbed at that location, Gilleran said.
