The non-teaching staff member left Hebron Avenue School in Glastonbury on Tuesday, Sept. 1 before lunch because they were not feeling well, said Principal Linda Provost in an open letter to the school community.
The staff member was wearing a mask and did not come into close contact with students, Provost said.
The staff member, who has not been identified, is now under quarantine for 14 days. Members of the school’s faculty and staff who came into contact with the infected employee have been informed, Provost said.
