The newest Wood-n-Tap is expected to open in November in the Big Y Plaza on Palomba Drive in Enfield, according to the Hartford Business Journal.
The Enfield location will feature a large outdoor patio with its own bar and seating for more than 200 people.
Under normal, non-pandemic conditions, Wood-n-Tap in Enfield would be able to accommodate nearly 450 guests between outdoor and indoor dining. (In an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19, restaurants in Connecticut - and most other states - cannot fill to capacity.)
Wood-n-Tap is an American restaurant serving pasta, steaks, bar food, tacos, and sandwiches with a wide selection of beers on tap and in bottles. It is owned by Phil Barnett and Mike Hamlin, the Hartford Restaurant Group.
“The times are challenging but we will make it happen,” said Barnett to HBJ.
Wood-n-Tap already has locations in Hartford, Farmington, Southington, Rocky Hill, Vernon, Wallingford, Hamden, and Newington. The business partners also started a barbecue eatery in 2019: Que Whiskey Kitchen in Southington.
