The crash was reported to police around 8:15 p.m. near the Grove Hill and Lake Street intersection, NBC Connecticut reported.
The driver was reportedly found unresponsive. Responders rushed her to an area hospital where she died of her injuries.
Police did not release her name.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
