School Guidance Counselor Charged With Sexual Assault Of Student In Norwalk A Fairfield County school guidance counselor has been charged with alleged sexual assault of a student. Luisa Melchionne, age 37, of New Canaan, was arrested on a warrant on Thursday, July 11, in connection with a complaint filed in April. According to Sgt. Ryan Evarts of the Norwalk Police, the department began an investigation into the claims of an inappropriate relationship with a student at Nathan Hill Middle School in Norwalk. Driver Arrested After 6-Year-Old Left On Norwalk Housing Authority Van A 47-year-old Norwalk Housing Authority bus driver was charged with child endangerment after locking a 6-year-old on a bus for the night. The incident occurred in Norwalk on Wednesday, May 15.  According to Sgt. Ryan Evarts of the Norwalk Police, on May 15, patrol officers responded to a call where a 6-year-old child did not return home from after-school activities sponsored by the Norwalk Housing Authority.  Officers located the child asleep in the Housing Authority passenger van parked in their lot, Evarts said.
