Breeze Expanding At BDL With Nonstop Flights To Major North Carolina Region
Connecticut travelers will soon have a convenient way to get to the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. Breeze Airways is adding new nonstop flights from Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Windsor Locks to Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) near Greensboro, NC. The seasonal service will begin on Friday, June 6. The route will operate twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. Some concertgoers at a popular post-rock band's show reportedly did a double-take when they saw longtime New York and former Connecticut resident Martha Stewart rocking out up near the front of the stage, according to a new report. Stewart, age 83, was seen attending a Godspeed You! Black Emperor concert in Charleston, South Carolina on Saturday, Nov 16, according to a report by Stereogum. A 21-year-old man who was killed while riding his motorcycle in New London County last week is being remembered for the bright future he lost and the love he shared with his friends and family. Elijah W. Hummel, of Groton, was found seriously wounded on Friday, Nov. 8, after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing into an unoccupied, parked car in front of Midway Pizza, police said.
