Before settling into the Hudson Valley, Zak! previously spent time in the New York Daily News newsroom and worked for hyperlocal digital news outlets on Long Island. Fredericksburg Man Stabs Mother’s Boyfriend, Calls 911 To Confess, Police Say A 20-year-old Fredericksburg man was arrested after stabbing his mother’s boyfriend and then calling 911 to report the incident, authorities announced. Inmate Found Dead In Maryland Cell; Suspect Identified, Not Yet Charged: State Police Maryland State Police have identified the inmate found dead at the North Branch Correctional Institution in Cumberland earlier this week as 28-year-old Robert Warren, officials said.
