CNN News Anchor From CT Announces Husband's Death In Heartbreaking Post
Alisyn Camerota, A CNN anchor from Fairfield County, CT and with New Jersey roots is mourning the loss of her husband, she announced in a heartbreaking post on social media.
Camerota, who was born in Shrewsbury, NJ said on Friday, Sept. 20 on Instagram that her husband, Tim Lewis, died on July 27, 2024 — two years after being diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
Lewis' obituary on the Harding Funeral Home website says that he and Camerota live in Westport, CT.

A community in Fairfield County is mourning the sudden death of a high school student-athlete.
Elliott Kropf, a senior who attended New Canaan High School, died on Saturday night, Sept. 14.

Fatal Crash: 18-Year-Old From Rhode Island ID'd As Victim On CT Roadway
A teenager was killed in a two-vehicle crash on a Connecticut roadway.
It happened around 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, in Fairfield County, on southbound Route 25 in Trumbull.
A 2013 BMW X1 was traveling southbound when another BMW, an X5, approached it.
According to Connecticut State Police, the X5 "maneuvered to the right, sideswiping the passenger side rear" of the X1.
The X5 lost control, veered into the median, and rolled over, hitting several trees.

A 27-year-old Connecticut woman is accused of ripping off a Fairfield County family for more than $35,000 in stolen items and money illegally charged on their credit card, authorities said.
