Man Admits To Embezzling $2M From Hartford County 'Good Guy' Gun Store: Feds A Connecticut man faces more than a decade in prison after he admitted to stealing over $2 million from his former employer, authorities said.  Middlesex County resident Evan Bobzin, age 39, of Chester, pleaded guilty to interstate transmission of stolen money and tax evasion, the US Attorney General for Connecticut said.  Bobzin worked as the head of information technology at Hoffman’s Gun Center in the Hartford County city of Newington. 94-Year-Old CT Woman Drowns At State Park Beach A 94-year-old Connecticut woman drowned while swimming at a state park beach. The incident occurred in New Haven County at Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison on Thursday, June 20. According to Will Healey of the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, EnCon Police, along with the Madison police and fire departments, off-duty lifeguards, and EnCon Rangers, responded to a report of a swimmer who submerged and did not resurface at Hammonasset Beach State Park.  A 94-year-old female from Middlesex County in Chester was pulled from the water unresponsive.
