CT Woman, 33, Killed In Fiery Overnight Crash A Connecticut woman who was a passenger died after the vehicle ran off the road and hit a bridge abutment before bursting into flames, according to authorities. The crash occurred in New London County at 10:20 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, on I-395 northbound in Lisbon. According to Connecticut State Police, the Dodge was traveling northbound on the highway when it ran off the right side of the road and struck the abutment for the Preston Allen Road overpass. 24-Year-Old Killed After Hitting Back Of Parked Tractor-Trailer On I-95 Stretch In CT A 24-year-old Connecticut man was killed after he veered off I-95 and hit the back of a parked tractor-trailer. The New Haven County crash happened around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, in Branford. According to Connecticut State Police, the tractor-trailer was parked just past a rest area on the shoulder when Josiah Lawrence Steinman, of New Haven, driving a 2019 Nissan Sentra north in the right lane, veered onto the shoulder "for an unknown reason," slamming into the back of the truck.
