A man was killed following a multi-vehicle collision that caused lengthy delays on a busy Connecticut highway. The crash happened in Fairfield County on Tuesday, Nov. 26 just after 3 p.m., when four vehicles became involved in an incident on the northbound Merritt Parkway (Route 15) in New Canaan just before Exit 37, Connecticut State Police announced on Wednesday, Nov. 27. A 26-year-old man faces drunk driving charges following a two-vehicle crash in Connecticut that left two people with serious injuries, police announced. Litchfield County resident Jacob Lowe of Roxbury was arrested on Sunday, July 7 following a crash on the same day that happened around 10:45 p.m. in the area of 247 South St. in Roxbury, Connecticut State Police announced on Monday, July 8. 33-Year-Old ID'd As Victim Of Multi-Vehicle CT Crash
A 33-year-old Connecticut man was killed in a three-vehicle crash on I-91. The collision occurred in Hartford County around 11:20 p.m., Monday, June 10, in the northbound lane south of Exit 38 in Windsor. According to Connecticut State Police, Jonathan Scott Schlagel, of Enfield, was driving a 2000 Triumph Sprint RS when he hit the rear of a 1999 Dodge Ram 3500. Schlagel was ejected from the motorcycle, state police said. He was then struck by a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV that was behind the pickup truck and the motorcycle.
