CT Family Of Dad Killed In DC Crash Sues Army, FAA For $500M The Connecticut family of a father of three killed last month in a midair plane crash over Washington, D.C., is suing federal regulators and the Army, claiming negligence led to the fatal collision, their attorney announced.  Casey Crafton, 40, of Salem, was among 67 people killed when American Airlines Flight 5342 crashed into a Black Hawk helicopter over Washington, D.C., on Jan. 29. Here's How Much Snow Fell In New Haven County Connecticut residents woke up to a blanket of snow Thursday, Dec. 5. A storm dropped as much as 5.5 inches in some areas, according to the National Weather Service. Lisbon in New London County saw the highest snowfall in Connecticut with 5.5 inches, while Wolcott in New Haven County recorded 4.5 inches. Fairfield County towns, including New Fairfield and Ridgefield, saw up to 3.2 inches. Most other areas across the state reported accumulations between 1 and 3 inches.
