Body-Cam Video Shows Suspect Fired First In New Haven Officer-Involved Fatal Shooting: Report The Connecticut Office of Inspector General released its preliminary findings in a fatal officer-involved shooting last week and found that the suspect fired at police first.  Jebrell Conley, 36, was shot and killed on Thursday, Sept. 19, at a West Haven car wash on Boston Road.  The New Haven Police Department's Violent Crime Task Force went to arrest Conley around 5 p.m. on an outstanding robbery warrant. At 2:31 a.m., police responded to Doremus Avenue and Port Street on a report of several vehicles driving erratically in the middle of the street, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. Teen In Critical Condition, 16-Year-Old Shot In 'Domestic' Attack: Police A 16-year-old Connecticut girl is in critical condition following an early morning shooting Tuesday, Sept. 17, authorities said.  Police were called to a  Hartford County home around 12:30 a.m. to reports of a shooting in Hartford. The address wasn't released to protect the victim as investigators believe this is a "domestic-related" attack.  Hartford police found the girl suffering from a bullet wound. Did You Lose A Giant Snake At CT Landmark? Police Want A Word Police in Connecticut are asking for the public's help to track down the people who left a ball python at a reservoir in Hartford County.  Video from the Nepaug Reservoir off Route 202 in Canton showed several people dumping the snake and running away just before 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, Burlington and Canton Animal Control said in a Facebook post. There are several popular hiking and biking trails near the reservoir.  The snake was listed as "young," but was still much too large for this reporter's liking.  Police took the python into custody and are keeping it…

Police Investigating 2 Suspicious Deaths In CT City Police in New Haven County say they found two dead bodies on Thursday morning, Sept. 12, and are searching for what killed them, authorities said.  Police in Ansonia were called to the 100 block of Westfield Ave., where the bodies were located. Officers do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community.  Investigators have closed off a portion of Westfield Avenue from Jackson Street to Burton Street until they clear the crime scene.  This is a developing story. Police Attempting To Identify Man Involved In CT 'Incident' Police in Fairfield County are asking the public for help identifying a man wanted in connection with an "incident."  The Norwalk Police Department is seeking the man's identity who was involved in an incident in Norwalk on Saturday, Aug. 26. Norwalk Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts described the man as a light-skinned Black man, 5-foot-7, 220 to 240 pounds, bald, and clean-shaven.
