6-Year-Old Hit By Bus: Police Release New Details In Crash Update: The 6-year-old Connecticut boy who was hit by a school bus on Thursday, Oct. 3, remains in the hospital on Friday, but he is in stable condition and his injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said. 2 Critically Injured After Being Struck On Sidewalk In Westport Two people are in critical condition after a vehicle veered off the roadway in Fairfield County and hit two pedestrians on a sidewalk. The incident occurred in Westport around 6:45 p.m. on Imperial Avenue near Post Road East. According to Westport Police Deputy Chief David Farrell, police, fire, and EMS were dispatched to the scene following a 911 call.
