Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

48-Year-Old Seriously Injured In Lakeview Crash A motorcyclist was critically injured after police say a car cut across his path on Long Island. The incident unfolded on Saturday, Nov. 9, at about 4:45 p.m. in Lakeview, on Glen Road.  The 48-year-old man was riding a 2023 Yamaha motorcycle northbound when a 42-year-old driver of a 2019 Acura SUV made a turn in front of him, resulting in the collision, according to Nassau County Police. Trooper Hospitalized After Cruiser Is Struck On Southern State In Hempstead A New York State Police trooper was hospitalized after his cruiser was struck by a vehicle. The Long Island incident happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, on the Southern State Parkway in the town of Hempstead. Man Fatally Stabbed At Rocky Point Home A suspect is on the loose after an overnight homicide on Long Island. Body Found After Fire At Storage Units In Capital Region State Police are investigating the discovery of a body following a structure fire at a storage facility in the region. Emergency services in Schoharie County responded around 4:10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, to reports of a fire at Superior Storage Units on Main Street in the town of Richmondville.  After firefighters extinguished the blaze, they found the remains of the dead person inside one of the units. Suspect From Nassau Caught After Troopers Find Him Sleeping With Stolen Goods: Police Troopers found a man sleeping in a wooded area with stolen goods following a break-in at a business in the region. State Police in Rensselaer County responded to the incident early Wednesday, Nov. 6, after reports of a past burglary at a business on Maple Hill Road in the town of Schodack. Nicholas T.
