Tavern To Close Location In CT After 30 Years: Here's When An Italian restaurant chain that has been around for three decades has announced when one of its Connecticut locations will close.  First & Last Tavern will serve its last meals at its location in the Hartford County town of Avon at 26 West Main St. (Route 202) on Sunday, Nov. 10, the chain announced on social media. Know Them? Police Across CT Searching For Men Installing Card Skimmers Police across Connecticut are searching for a group of men who are installing card skimmers on credit card machines. Several incidents have occurred in New Haven County in the past month. In Prospect, the owners of LaBonne's Markets said that at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, two men with accents wearing Hugo Boss apparel and hats bought a few items, paid cash, and while our cashier was making change, placed a credit card skimmer on register 3 at the market's Prospect store.  The skimmer was found around 1:20 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, the following day.
