A Connecticut man is accused of drunkenly crashing into a police cruiser and sending the officer to the hospital Saturday night, Aug. 24 in Fairfield County, authorities said. A Connecticut State Police trooper was injured after an overnight crash that caused a three-hour closure on a stretch of I-84. It happened in Fairfield County just after 9 p.m. Friday, June 14, in Danbury.
