Deaths Of Husband, Wife At CT Home Was Murder-Suicide, Medical Examiner Says Days after a husband and wife were found shot to death at their Connecticut home, their deaths have been ruled a murder-suicide. The New London County incident happened Wednesday morning, June 19, at a residence in Voluntown on Hell Hollow Road. Connecticut State Police said troopers found 69-year-old Michael Zannini and 65-year-old Jacqueline Zannini both dead from gunshot wounds. Fatal Hit-Run: Drunk Driver Found Hiding In Woods After CT Crash Killing Woman, Police Say A woman was killed and another victim was injured in a suspected hit-and-run, drunk driving crash in Connecticut. The New London County incident happened at around 4:45 p.m. Sunday, June 9, in Griswold, at the intersection of Taylor Hill and Oakville roads. Connecticut State Police said 35-year-old Franklin Post, of Bozrah, was speeding when he ran a stop sign and collided with a GMC SUV.  Witnesses told police that immediately following the crash, Post and two passengers exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. Man, Woman, Both Age 33, Killed In 2-Vehicle CT Crash A man and woman were killed after being thrown from a vehicle in a two-vehicle Connecticut crash. The collision occurred in New London County around 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, at the intersection of North Burnham Highway, Kimball Road, and Meadowbrook Drive in Libson.  According to the Connecticut State Police, Trevor Pawlak, age 33, and Jessica Fowler, age 33, both of Griswold, in New London County, were killed after a 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle they were riding collided with a 2014 Volkswagen Passat attempting to make a turn.
