Man Fatally Injured In Scooter Crash ID'd As 68-Year-Old
A 68-year-old Connecticut man who was seriously injured last week in a scooter crash in New London County has died of his wounds, authorities said. Raymond Getty, of New London, was involved in a two-scooter crash on Wednesday, Oct. 9, on Broad Street near the Cedar Grove cemetery entrance just before 11 a.m., authorities said. Police found the man lying on the road with severe injuries, and paramedics rushed him to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, where doctors attempted to save his life. CT Woman, 37, Found Dead Floating In Quinnipiac River
Police in Connecticut are investigating after a 37-year-old woman's body was found dead floating in the water of the Quinnipiac River. New Haven Police Officer Christian Bruckhart said the incident occurred in New Haven around 7:50 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10, near Brewery Square. Man Killed, Woman Injured In Single-Vehicle CT Crash, Police Say
A man was killed, and a woman was injured following a one-car crash in Connecticut. The crash occurred in Hartford County around 9:15 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 29, in the area of Slater Road near Mitchell Street in New Britain.
