Man Moved Person From Wrecked Car Rather Than Take Him To Hospital; Victim Later Died: Police
A Connecticut man is facing several felonies after police said he crashed his car, fatally wounding his passenger, and then moved the victim to a friend's car rather than get help earlier this year in New Haven County. The man would later die of his injuries.
Luis Sanchez-Sagbay, of Bristol in Hartford County, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 23, and charged with misconduct with a motor vehicle, interfering with an officer, reckless driving, driving without insurance, operating a motor vehicle without a license, and improper use of a marker plate, Wolcott Police said.

2 Pedestrians Hit, 1 Killed in CT, Driver Remains At Scene
Two pedestrians were hit, and one was killed by a vehicle at a busy Connecticut intersection.
The crash occurred in Hartford County in Bristol around 4:15 a.m., Monday, June 24, in the area of Pine Street (Route 72) and Emmett Street.
According to Lt. Patrick Krajewski of the Bristol Police, officers from the patrol division administered life-saving measures until EMS arrived on the scene to take over care.
Both pedestrians were transported to area hospitals, where one pedestrian died, Krajewski said.

CT Man Admits Committing 37 Robberies Across State
A Connecticut man has admitted to committing at least 37 violent robberies across the state in 2022.
Hartford County resident Lonny Cross, age 45, of Bristol, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, May 21, for the crimes that ranged from Hartford to Fairfield County and one in New York in September and October 2022, said Vanessa Roberts Avery, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
