Charlie Kirk Statue, Sign Defaced Days After Unveiling On Anniversary Of His Death
A memorial unveiled only days ago has already been vandalized, prompting a police investigation and a pledge to repair the damage.
Turning Point USA said the 8-foot bronze memorial statue honoring conservative influencer Charlie Kirk outside its Phoenix, Arizona, headquarters was vandalized overnight and discovered Sunday, Sept. 13. Red spray paint covered portions of the statue, while a nearby religious sign was also defaced.

4 CT Men Arrested, Race Car Impounded After Long Island Street Takeover: Police
Four Connecticut men were arrested, and a truck, trailer, and race car were impounded after police broke up an early-morning street takeover on Long Island, Suffolk County Police said.
A 911 caller reported a large gathering of vehicles on Express Drive North, west of Sills Road in Yaphank, around 1:10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, Suffolk County Police said.
Officers assigned to the Street Takeover Task Force arrived and saw vehicles racing before the group dispersed, according to police.
Police stopped a truck towing a trailer carrying a race car and arrested four people.
