Lay's Launches New Chips With Bold Global Flavors For 2026 World Cup Lay's is kicking off a new lineup of globally inspired potato chips before the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Three international flavors of Lay's potato chips will be available nationwide in early May, PepsiCo announced in a news release on Tuesday, April 21. The chips help promote the World Cup, which begins on Thursday, June 11. The US will co-host the world's biggest sporting event with Canada and Mexico. Paul Tagliabue, Visionary NFL Commissioner, Dies Paul Tagliabue, the former NFL commissioner who led the league through nearly two decades of growth and transformation, has died. The 84-year-old Tagliabue's death came on Sunday, Nov. 9, at his home in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
