A man told police he was strangled with a dog leash and kicked in the face repeatedly during a violent home invasion at his Connecticut home. He was able to police track down one of the assailants because they are related, authorities said.

CT Driver Charged In Crash That Left Pedestrian With Life-Altering Injuries
A 28-year-old Fairfield County man is charged in a motorcycle crash that left a 24-year-old pedestrian with possibly life-altering injuries, authorities said.
Kevin Calle, of Stamford, is charged with second-degree assault and reckless operation in the October 30, 2024, crash, police said.
Investigators allege Calle was riding west on Tresser Boulevard in Stamford around 7:41 p.m. on a Kawasaki motorcycle when he hit 24-year-old Lucas Honohan, a New York resident, as he crossed the street, authorities said.
