CT Man Crashed Into Pedestrian On Purpose, Left Them Hospitalized: Police
A Connecticut man is facing serious charges after police said he intentionally hit a pedestrian with his SUV before speeding away, authorities said.
Jeremiah Vizzo, 43, of Stamford, turned himself in to police on Monday, April 7, and was being held on a court-set $75,000 bond, authorities said.
Police accused Vizzo of crashing his Lexus SUV into a 57-year-old Stamford resident in the 400 block of West Main Street around 7 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16. He allegedly drove off, leaving the victim seriously injured on the road.

CT Driver Charged In Crash That Left Pedestrian With Life-Altering Injuries
A 28-year-old Fairfield County man is charged in a motorcycle crash that left a 24-year-old pedestrian with possibly life-altering injuries, authorities said.
Kevin Calle, of Stamford, is charged with second-degree assault and reckless operation in the October 30, 2024, crash, police said.
Investigators allege Calle was riding west on Tresser Boulevard in Stamford around 7:41 p.m. on a Kawasaki motorcycle when he hit 24-year-old Lucas Honohan, a New York resident, as he crossed the street, authorities said.
