Lowe's Will Close All Locations For 24 Hours: Here's Why Lowe's will once again close all stores on Easter Sunday. A spokesperson for the home improvement chain confirmed the closings to Daily Voice on Monday, April 7. The Easter holiday falls on Sunday, April 20. The closure applies to all Lowe's stores nationwide. "This day off will give our associates the opportunity to spend some extra time with their loved ones," the spokesperson said. 4th Stamford Suicide In Week Has Police Alarmed, Officers Offer Support Stamford Police are asking residents to reach out to their loved ones to check on them after four residents have committed suicide over the past week.  Assistant Chief Richard Conklin said a spike like this is unheard of for the Fairfield County town.
