I-684 Crash: Police ID CT Victim Killed, Release Details In Weekend Southeast Collision Police have released the name of a Connecticut man killed in a fatal crash that shut down lanes on I-684 in Putnam County on Sunday morning, Jan. 26.  The two-car crash happened around 7:15 a.m. in the town of Southeast, according to New York State Police.  A preliminary investigation determined that a 23-year-old Mount Vernon, NY woman lost control of her vehicle in the northbound lanes, police said. Woman Killed In CT Head-On Collision That Sent 3 Teens To Hospital A 62-year-old woman was killed earlier this week in a head-on crash with an SUV in Fairfield County. Diane K. Staab, of Mahopac, New York, was identified as the victim who died in the crash, which occurred in New Fairfield on Monday, Jan. 13, shortly before 9:30 p.m., Connecticut State Police said. The crash happened on Ball Pond Road just north of Harvest Road. Staab's Jeep collided head-on with an oncoming SUV. New Haven County resident Carlos Davila, age 30, of Ansonia, was killed around 6 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, in the area of 14 Mill Plain Road in Danbury. According to Erin Henry of the Danbury Police, Davila was driving a motorcycle when the crash occurred with a garbage truck.
