Marshals Help Nab Man Wanted For Stalking, Violating Protective Order In Waterbury
US Marshals arrested a wanted Connecticut man charged with violating a protective order, authorities announced.
Jeremy Colonghi, 47, of New London, was charged with stalking, criminal violation of a protective order, harassment, disorderly conduct, and refusal to be processed, police said.
Waterbury police, working with Marshals and Groton officers, arrested Colonghi in Groton on Friday, May 2.
Colonghi was being held on a $215,000 bond, authorities said.
He was wanted on an outstanding failure to appear warrant.

Justin C. Murphy, 50, of Stamford, pleaded guilty in federal court to wire fraud and money laundering, the US Attorney for Connecticut said. He faces up to 30 years in prison.

Police ID Father, Husband Stabbed To Death Inside Danbury Home
Authorities have identified a 22-year-old man fatally stabbed over the weekend at a Connecticut home, an attack that led to another man’s arrest and a bond set at $1 million.
Yorge Michael Andrade-Vera was stabbed around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at a home on Granville Avenue in Danbury, police said.
He was taken by paramedics to Danbury Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to a Facebook memorial post, Andrade-Vera is survived by his wife, young daughter, and several immediate family members.
