CT Wrong-Way Driver Crash On I-291 Sends 3 To Hospital
A wrong-way driver crashed into an oncoming car on I-291 on Sunday night, Dec. 22, sending three people to the hospital, officials said. The wreck was reported just after 9 p.m. between westbound Exits 4 and 5 near the borders of Manchester and South Windsor, firefighters said. The impact sent one car careening into some trees along the interstate and sheered the front wheel off another, the South Windsor Fire Department said. Alleged Stalker Scares Woman, Daughters At CT Target, Police Say
A 55-year-old Connecticut man was held overnight after turning himself in to police on charges of stalking a woman and her two daughters. The incident occurred in Hartford County at the Target store on Sunday, July 14, in South Windsor. According to Sgt. Mark Cleverdon of the South Windsor Police, a woman, and her two adult daughters came to police headquarters to report that a strange man had followed them through the store. A Connecticut woman who allegedly tied her dog to a tree on a walking path with its collar and left it to die has been charged with cruelty to animals.
