Man Accused Of Attempting To Drown Young Children At CT Beach A 41-year-old man is behind bars after allegedly attempting to drown two young children at a Connecticut beach. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 2:30 a.m., Saturday, June 22, at a West Haven beach in the area of Ocean Avenue and Dawson Avenue. Romney Desronvil, of Queens, New York, was in custody and arrested in connection with the "heinous act," said West Haven police spokesperson Sgt. Patrick Buturla. Attempted Murder: Man Critical Following Shooting, Suspect Charged In Bridgeport A 24-year-old Fairfield County man is fighting for his life after being shot in the head on a city street. The incident occurred in Bridgeport around 9:20 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, in the 1200 block of Iranistan Avenue. According to Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police officers located the victim with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head.  He was transported by AMR ambulance to an area hospital, where he was listed in critical condition on Thursday, June 20. The incident occurred in Bridgeport around 4:50 a.m. on Sunday, June 9, on Knowlton Street.  According to Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police officers responded to an area hospital on reports of a 47-year-old woman in the emergency room with a laceration to the neck. Attempted Murder: Juvenile Arrested For Serious CT Assault, Police Say A juvenile has been arrested after he allegedly assaulted a young man, leaving him seriously injured. The Middlesex County incident occurred on Friday, May 24, at around 8:30 p.m. in the town of Westbrook. According to the Connecticut State Police, a young man (whose identity has not been released due to age) was seen on security footage assaulting another young man on Boston Post Road.
