2 State Troopers Injured, I-91N Closed After Multiple Vehicle Crash A serious multi-vehicle crash shut down a stretch of Interstate 91 northbound Thursday morning, July 10, leaving two state troopers and several others injured and causing traffic backups for miles. The crash happened during the busy morning commute near Exit 47W in Enfield. Water Wreck Snarls I-91: Bottled-Water Truck Flips, Driver Hurt A tractor-trailer carrying 45,000 pounds of bottled water overturned on Interstate 91 in North Haven, sending the driver to the hospital and bringing traffic to a standstill across parts of the highway and nearby roads, authorities said.  North Haven firefighters posted photos from the Wednesday afternoon, July 9, wreck and said state troopers were diverting traffic on I-91 South between exits 12 and 13, as well as along Washington Avenue, where traffic was being redirected. Tractor-Trailer Crash Causes Massive Traffic Jam On Route 15 A portion of Route 15 was closed Thursday morning, Feb. 13, after a car crashed with a tractor-trailer. The wreck was reported around 7:45 a.m. between westbound Exits 66 and 68, CTRoads.org said. No one was hurt, but the crash caused a traffic jam that stretched four miles. The Department of Energy and Environmental responded to the scene because of a reported fuel leak.  Police closed the I-691 West ramp (Exit 68W) ramp Thursday morning as they cleaned, cleared, and investigated the scene.
