Shot Fired On I-91: CT Drivers Charged In Road Rage Incident, Police Say
A single bullet tore through a car’s front pillar on I-91 south near Exit 10 in North Haven after a road-rage clash turned violent, Connecticut State Police say.
Andre Smith, 34, of Bridgeport, is accused of firing a round that the car driven by Jonathan Yanagisawa, 30, of Woodbridge, around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, but no one was hurt.
Yanagisawa called police after the shooting. He captured the license plate and vehicle on his dash camera, and police tracked down Smith soon after.

A Connecticut man is facing serious charges after a chaotic scene in Lisbon, after police say he broke into a home, stole a firearm, and assaulted an elderly person, authorities said.
Michael Grenier, 36, of Enfield, was first introduced to police on Sunday, June 29, when someone called officers to report a man screaming at passing vehicles on Kimball Road around 7:30 p.m., Connecticut State Police said.
While on the way, troopers learned that the man might have been involved in a violent incident at a nearby home, one involving a gun.

Knife Fight At CT High School, 11 Students Charged: Police
Multiple students were arrested after police said they got into a knife fight at a Waterbury high school on Wednesday, May 28.
The fight broke out just before noon at John F. Kennedy High School, 422 Highland Ave. The school resource officer, with help from other Waterbury police, broke up the attack, officials said.
Several students suffered minor injuries in the fight, but the school nurse was able to treat their wounds without further assistance, Waterbury police said.
