Police ID Woman Killed In Freak Accident At Theater; No Charges Expected A tragic accident at the historic Jacob’s Pillow dance center has left one employee dead, local authorities say. Kathryn “Kat” Sirico, a seasonal employee at the Becket, Massachusetts, theater, was helping a summer intern move stage platforms on a dolly across the property on Friday, Aug. 1. As they navigated a sloped area, the dolly began to roll out of control. Sirico attempted to stop it, but fell and was struck by the dolly, causing the platforms to fall on them, authorities said.  Bystanders rushed to help and tried to save their life. Man Who Fell 30 Feet Through Skylight At Utz Factory ID’d: Coroner A 34-year-old subcontractor from Harrisburg who died after falling through a skylight at the Utz Factory in Hanover, Pennsylvania, has been identified, the York County Coroner’s Office confirmed on Tuesday, May 6. Police ID Man Killed In CT Workplace Incident As 63 Year Old Police released the name of the man who died after being found trapped between a truck frame earlier this week.  Drew Midford, 63, of Rocky Hilll, was found at Drew's Small Engine Repair, 832 Silas Deane Highway in Wetherfield, around 8:15 p.m. Thursday, March 27, police said.  A coworker called police, saying they had been looking for the man when they found Midford trapped in the vehicle's frame. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.  The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner took custody of his body, and Wethersfield police are investigating the incid…

CT Farm Worker Killed By Machinery At Work; Osha Investigating A man was killed this week after he was hit by a piece of heavy machinery in Connecticut, authorities said.  The 68-year-old Springfield, Massachusetts, man was at Lindy Farms on Fletcher Road when a skid steer loader backed into him just after 11:15 a.m., Enfield Police said. Authorities believe he was bending over, and the driver could not see him. The man's name was not released.  The man worked at the farm, but in what capacity is unclear.  Police contacted investigators with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) who are not looking into the matter.&n…
