Man Charged With Killing CT High School Student Who 'Could Light Up Any Room' Police said they have arrested a 40-year-old Connecticut man in the fatal shooting of a teenage girl last month.  Shamar Atwater, of Waterbury, was arrested Friday morning, Aug. 1, and charged with the killing of 17-year-old Carizma Fox, Waterbury police said.  Waterbury police tracked Atwater to a home in Watertown. 2 Killed In CT Fire; Police Investigating Cause Of Blaze Police are investigating after two people were found dead inside a burning home on Friday, May 2.  Firefighters were called to a home on Pleasantview Avenue in Oakville just before 4 a.m. The house was completely engulfed in flames, and the roof had caved in, Watertown police said.  Two people were found inside. Police have not identified the victims.   Local and state fire marshals, as well as Watertown police, are investigating the cause of the fire.
