CT Driver Dies In Multi-Car Crash After Suffering Medical Emergency: Police An 83-year-old man died following a crash involving multiple vehicles Tuesday morning, Sept. 9, police said. The driver hit a parked car near 186 East Center Street in Manchester just before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9. The impact sent him careening into another vehicle, investigators said.  “Preliminary findings indicate that the operator may have suffered a medical emergency before the initial collision,” police said. Emergency crews rushed the Manchester man to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities have not released his name. No other injuries were reported.&…

CT Man Hit Crossing Road Dies From Injuries; Driver Initially Fled Scene: Police A 58-year-old man struck by a vehicle while crossing a New Haven street has died from his injuries, police said. Jaime Melendez-Martinez, of New Haven, was hit around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, as he crossed Foxon Boulevard after walking from the Walmart parking lot, according to the New Haven Police Department. Melendez-Martinez was rushed to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he later died from his injuries, police said. 33-Year-Old ID'd As Victim Of Multi-Vehicle CT Crash A 33-year-old Connecticut man was killed in a three-vehicle crash on I-91. The collision occurred in Hartford County around 11:20 p.m., Monday, June 10, in the northbound lane south of Exit 38 in Windsor. According to Connecticut State Police, Jonathan Scott Schlagel, of Enfield, was driving a 2000 Triumph Sprint RS when he hit the rear of a 1999 Dodge Ram 3500.
