A Connecticut tractor-trailer driver died after a violent head-on crash that left two rigs buried in a snowbank along a Massachusetts roadway. A 52-year-old Connecticut motorcyclist was killed after crashing into the back of a tractor-trailer on I-95 in Stonington, authorities said. Shawn Twomey, of New Haven, was piloting his Suzuki GSX-R1000 around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday when he crashed into a truck near the I-91 South interchange, Connecticut State Police said. Tractor-Trailer Crash Causes Massive Traffic Jam On Route 15
A portion of Route 15 was closed Thursday morning, Feb. 13, after a car crashed with a tractor-trailer. The wreck was reported around 7:45 a.m. between westbound Exits 66 and 68, CTRoads.org said. No one was hurt, but the crash caused a traffic jam that stretched four miles. The Department of Energy and Environmental responded to the scene because of a reported fuel leak.
