Police caught up with them at a Wendy’s drive-thru across the street. According to Auburn Police, an alert employee called in the theft after watching the suspects speed away from the store in a black Ford Edge with Connecticut plates. Toxic Chemical Found In Children's Jewelry Kits Triggers Massive Recall A New Jersey toy company is recalling hundreds of thousands of children's jewelry design kits because the crafts have a toxic resin. LaRose Industries recalled about 224,100 Cra-Z-Art Gemex and Gel2Gem kits, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a news release on Thursday, Mar. 27. The agency said the jewelry kits contain a chemical banned in children's products, violating the Federal Hazardous Substances Act. The resin, hydroxyethylmethacrylate (HEMA), can cause skin, eye, and respiratory irritation or sensitization if not fully cured. "Once cured, the resin no longer presen…
