22-Year-Old CT Man Killed In Bronx Double Murder; Police Searching For Shooter Authorities in New York City have identified a 22-year-old Connecticut man as one of the two victims gunned down in an early morning shooting in the Bronx.  Gabriel Alvarez, of Stratford, was killed in the Throggs Neck neighborhood on Monday, July 28, according to a press release from the New York City Police Department. CT Boy, 13, In Critical Condition After Scooter Vs Car Crash A 13-year-old boy was left in critical condition with serious injuries after being hit by a car while on his scooter Friday night, June 28.  The crash happened just after 9:30 p.m. near 182 Northridge Drive in Waterbury. Paramedics rushed him to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.  The car's driver was uninjured.  Waterbury police are investigating the crash.

Francha J.
