CT Man Convicted In Deadly Shooting That Killed 1, Wounded Off-Duty Police Captain
A jury has convicted a Connecticut man accused of killing someone and shooting a police officer who rushed to help.
Albert Eaddy, 63, was convicted of murder, felony murder, first-degree robbery, and first-degree assault in connection with the 2019 shooting death of Troy Clark, 46, and the wounding of then-New Haven Police Capt. Anthony Duff, according to New Haven Judicial District State's Attorney John P. Doyle Jr.
In a separate proceeding before the court, Eaddy was also found guilty of criminal possession of a firearm.

A man was shot and killed by police on Long Island after pointing what appeared to be a shotgun at officers during a domestic disturbance.
The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, in Carle Place, Nassau County Police said.
