A shopping trip at a Connecticut Walmart turned violent when a fight broke out between two employees and customers, landing the workers in handcuffs, authorities said.
Shelly Alam, 45, and her manager, Robert Mclaughlin, 39, both of Waterbury, face multiple charges in connection with the Wednesday, Aug. 27, incident, according to Naugatuck police.

A stolen BMW led police on a chase through Stamford on Wednesday afternoon, June 25, causing a violent multi-vehicle crash that sent four people to the hospital, including a Connecticut state trooper, officials said.
The pursuit began in New York after the vehicle was connected to the robbery of an off-duty NYPD officer, Stamford police said. 6 Women Busted In Waterbury Prostitution Sting As Part Of "Quality-Of-Life" Operation
Police in Connecticut arrested six women on charges of prostitution as part of a community clean-up sting, authorities said.
Waterbury Police arrested the women on Monday, Sept. 23, in the Willow Street and Hillside Avenue areas of the New Haven County town.
Those arrested include:
