Nurse, Father Of 2 Dies After Community Surges To Family's Aid: 'Forever In Our Hearts' A New Haven hospital nurse has died following an unexpected illness that caused severe brain injuries, a fundraiser said.  Michael Consiglio, a lead nurse at the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Yale New Haven Hospital, was rushed to the hospital on July 16 after not feeling well for a few days.
