Police in Connecticut had to break up another illegal "takeover" of a road after more than 100 cars blocked traffic during the weekend, authorities said.
Police in Fairfield County were called to 200 East Main St. in Stratford just after midnight on Sunday, Sept. 29, to reports of a takeover, authorities said.

Police arrested two men after they allegedly took part in an illegal "takeover" of I-95 for several miles in Connecticut as they filmed more than 100 motorcycles performing tricks on the interstate and blocking traffic, authorities said.

A Connecticut man has admitted to committing at least 37 violent robberies across the state in 2022.
Hartford County resident Lonny Cross, age 45, of Bristol, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, May 21, for the crimes that ranged from Hartford to Fairfield County and one in New York in September and October 2022, said Vanessa Roberts Avery, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
