Woman Fighting For Life After CT Man Fires Rifle Through Apartment Ceiling A man told police he accidentally fired his AR-15-style rifle through the ceiling of his Connecticut apartment, seriously injuring a woman in the apartment above, according to police. Caleb Bean, 30, of Groton, was arrested after the shooting just before 11 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14, at the Phoenix Park Apartments on Long Hill Road.
