Father Killed In Crash While Riding Next To Son On I-684 A 46-year-old man was killed while riding his motorcycle next to his son on a busy interstate highway in the region. CT Child, 8, Struck By Vehicle A child struck by a car in Connecticut escaped without injury. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 8:50 a.m., Tuesday, May 28, on Hall Avenue. According to Sgt. Michale Boothroyd of the Meriden Police, an officer, responded to the area and found an 8-year-old child had been struck but was showing no apparent signs of injury but did complain of pain.
