Maxx Gallup, 26, and another man were spotted walking along the southbound shoulder of Route 32 around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, near Alice Street in Windham, while wearing all black, Connecticut state police said. A jury convicted a Massachusetts man of the brutal quadruple murder of his cousin's wife and her three young children at their Worcester County home, prosecutors said.
Matthew Locke, 38, formerly of Ware, was found guilty of four counts of first-degree murder in the slayings of Sara Bermudez, 38, Madison Bermudez, 8, James Bermudez, 6, and Michael Bermudez, 2, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said.
Locke, a cousin of Moses Bermudez, committed the March 1, 2018, murders while Moses was out of town in California, authorities said.

Gerald Lapointe, of Florence, Massachusetts, was cited after he crashed into a Connecticut State Police car in Harwinton in Litchfield County just after midnight on Friday, Nov. 15, police said.

A 56-year-old Connecticut man was killed in a crash on I-91 in New Haven County, authorities said.
William Risley, of Watertown, died on Monday, Nov. 11, after he crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer truck on the interstate around 2 p.m., Connecticut State Police said.
According to the police report, Risley and the other vehicle were both in the center lane and had just passed exit 15 in Wallingford when the crash happened.

A 45-year-old man was killed during the weekend when he was involved in a three-vehicle crash in New London County, authorities said.
Curtis Barkdull, of Sturgis, South Dakota, was riding a motorcycle near Colman and Vauxhall Streets in New London around 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, when he and two sedans crashed, authorities said.
