A grand jury has indicted an Orange County town's Highway Superintendent, John J. Reilly III, on 13 felony counts, including attempted murder, stemming from the Friday, May 2 shooting of a DoorDash driver outside his home, prosecutors announced.
Reilly, 48, is now facing a slew of serious charges, including two counts of first-degree assault, attempted second-degree murder, and multiple weapons charges, the Orange County District Attorney's Office announced on Monday, May 19.

Police have linked a Connecticut man to a duffel bag containing drugs and firearms found in an abandoned apartment building last year, authorities said.
Geoffrey Feliciano, 37, of Ansonia, faces multiple felony charges, police said.
Ansonia officers responded to a call at an abandoned building in the 200 block of Main Street after someone discovered a duffel bag filled with cocaine, marijuana, fentanyl, meth, tramadol, ecstasy, and drug packaging material, police said. Suzanne Laprise, 51, of Plainville, pleaded guilty in New Britain Court in connection with the October 6, 2023, shooting inside the station, Bristol Police Chief Mark Morello said in a statement. Laprise admitted to a charge of an attempt to commit assault.

Rashad Hardy was found guilty on Aug. 28 of murder, carrying a pistol with a permit, and criminal possession of a firearm, the Connecticut State Attorney's Office said.
Hardy was convicted of killing Ricky Newton, age 36, of New Haven, on Rosette Street in July 2020, police said.
